Terms and Condition

1. Quotes and bookings

Quotes are based on the details you give us, including your event date, location, guest numbers, and menu choices. A quote is an estimate and isn't confirmed until we've agreed on the details and you've received written confirmation from us.

Your booking is only locked in once we confirm it with you. We recommend booking early, as dates fill up quickly.

2. Pricing and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Payment terms, including any deposit, will be set out in your quote or confirmation.

A deposit may be required to secure your date. Final numbers and payment are due by the date we agree on. We may not be able to hold your booking if payment isn't received on time.

3. Guest numbers and menu changes

Please confirm your final guest numbers and menu by the date we agree on. We'll do our best to accommodate late changes, but we can't always guarantee them, and additional charges may apply.

4. Dietary requirements and allergies

Let us know about any dietary needs or allergies when you book. We offer vegetarian swaps and will do our best to cater to your requirements.

Please note that our food is prepared in a shared mobile kitchen where allergens such as gluten, dairy, nuts, and seafood may be present. While we take care, we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests with serious allergies should take this into account.

5. On the day

To serve you well, we'll need:

- Safe, reasonable access to your event location for our van and team

- A suitable, level space to set up and operate

- Confirmation of timing and setup in advance

Delays caused by access issues, site conditions, or last-minute changes outside our control may affect our service, and additional charges may apply.

6. Cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or change your event, please tell us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any non-refundable deposit, will be set out in your quote or confirmation.

Occasionally, events outside our control — such as extreme weather, vehicle breakdown, illness, or other emergencies — may force us to change or cancel. If this happens, we'll do our best to offer an alternative or arrange a fair refund of any amount paid for services we can't provide.

7. Our food and service

We pride ourselves on fresh street food served on-site. Food is intended to be enjoyed at your event on the day it's served. Once we've handed food over, it's the responsibility of you and your guests to handle and store it safely.

8. Liability

We take care to deliver safe, quality catering. To the extent permitted by law, Macca's Catering is not liable for any indirect or unforeseen loss, or for issues caused by inaccurate information provided to us, guest behaviour, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Damage and conduct

You're responsible for ensuring a safe environment for our team at your event. Any damage to our equipment, van, or property caused by guests may be charged to the person who made the booking.

10. Photos and promotion

We may take photos of our food and setup at events for our website and social media. If you'd prefer we didn't, just let us know in advance and we'll respect that.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website, with the "Last updated" date shown above.
